I know I haven’t been here for quite awhile. Life kind of got in the way. Life is like that. It comes at you, and if you don’t have a clear plan and goals, you can lose yourself from one day to the next. So my keyword for this coming year is “Goals”.
I know you can’t plan for everything. But a clear, understandable goal — that everyone is on board with — makes dealing with the unexpected easier. So, without further ado, here are my goals for 2011:
Set up and use a workable home organization plan. I’m calling this a plan and not a binder, because it will not be on paper. My family does not use paper, we are a truly digital family. So, I am coming up with a digital solution that we can use.
Stay On Plan with Weight Watchers
As you can see, I did not say lose weight. That’s too broad. Staying On Plan and exercise regularly are clearly defined goals. Weight loss should be the final outcome, but if it’s not at least I will still be healthy.
Spend 5 hours a day/ 5 days a week writing
My job tends to either go to the wayside, or be all consuming. This year, my focus is to spend a clearly defined amount of time writing. Whether it is for my clients or my blogs. There will be a start time and a stop time for each day.
Pay off our debts and establish a viable savings plan. This is our largest goal as a household and we are finally all on board. We can move forward as a family this year.
Spend 15 a morning in spiritual contemplation
There you have it. My goals for 2011. Clearly defined and definitely attainable! I hope you have had time to set your goals for the coming year.
